After weeks and months of painting, constructing fighting tops, researching and finally simplifying the rigging, my Light Frigate received her set of sails today!
Amazing what a difference that makes!
In favor of playability, deck and fighting top access, I decided to omit any further shrouds.
Can’t wait to get her to the playing table :-)
In the process of attaching the sails, I discovered that the actual sail templates may be a bit too long - so I made them billow using white glue & water … and my wife’s document roll ;-)
